The firm consists of three partners all of whom have a wealth of experience and they are supported by a dedicated and experienced team, with a number of qualified chartered accountants in our staff.

Andrew trained and qualified as a CA with the firm becoming a Partner in 1987. He is a firm believer that the development of the people of G.O. Thomson is the key to success. He understands the clients need to be the centre of all we do at G.O. Thomson.

Andrew deals with all aspects of the small and medium size businesses including Audit, Accounting, Tax, Tax Planning and Succession Planning for family businesses.

Andrew’s down to earth attitude, technical ability and desire to problem solve means that he is a trusted adviser to a  number of business owners whether they be company directors partners or private individuals.

Mark qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1983 having joined the firm as a trainee four years earlier. He was appointed a partner in 1987 when the practice expanded following the acquisition of another local firm of accountants.

He has remained with G.O. Thomson & Company throughout this period building up detailed knowledge of many business sectors. He has particular experience in Agriculture, Transport and Haulage, the Licensed Trade, Construction Industry, Charities and Financial and Other Professional Services.

He holds statutory auditor status authorised by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS).

Kenny has been working with and advising organisations of all sizes across a variety of industries for many years. He has extensive experience in providing small and medium sized businesses advice on audit, accounting, taxation and business advisory services.

Kenny became a partner in G.O. Thomson in 2014 and thrives on meeting with clients looking for opportunities to improve their business and add value.  He enjoys having a very close relationship with clients as their trusted advisor. 

Out with the office he has a family focus having three young sons and he also enjoys unwinding on the golf course.
